Guns don't kill people, Chuck Norris kills people.
Many people feel that guns are bad, but those people are dumb. The second ammendment grants us the right to own guns. Many people give the arguement, that without guns there wouldn't be any murders and crime. But if you were going to break the law, would it really matter to you wether or not you used a gun illegally? If the government tried to make laws to try and ban guns, people will always find ways around them. I feel guns are okay when used for sport and recreation, and i would have no other reason to use them. If President Osama err Obama were to put restrictions on guns, I think there would be a serious outbreak of crazed gun owners everywhere. AKA my Dad. Any opinions on this?

Yeah, I don't understand what the big problem is with having your own weapon in your own household. I agree with you, guns are used for many sports, and for recreation. If the government did have a law to ban guns, I believe that their would be a huge outbreak too. I do believe that crimes would go down, if we had the law, but people would still try to find a way to get a hold of guns and still use them. Yes, it would be harder to find guns to buy if we had this law, but people are still going to use guns no matter what.
Theres only two things I use my rifle at my house Deer hunting, and protecting my house from robbery,I don't think the second amendment should be taken from us considering the war with American Revolution with England, the whole reason why we are allow to own a rifle. Rifles should never be taken away from us considering we are only allow to defend our home and our nieghbour homes and we have to have a license if we want to use it for animal hunting.
Honestly I dont think there is a way to keep people from having guns. If you were to make it illegal for people to have guns they would start getting sold illegaly. Something very similar happened when they made alcohol illegal. I feel it could happen again if guns were to get banned.
